A salt cleansing for your home will transform and elevate the energy and vibration to one of greater clarity, harmony, and flow. A good salt cleanse ritual is recommended once a month around the time of the full moon.
How to Use Salt to Cleanse a Space
- Collect your salt in a small bowl. Focus on your intention for purification and connect to the Earth beneath and Sky above you to align your energy with white light.
- Start facing your front door and sprinkle a little salt at your threshold.
- Enter your home, face the inside of your door, and sprinkle a little on the inside threshold.
- Move to each corner of your home, room by room in a clockwise fashion, and sprinkle into each corner.
- As you approach a window or door, sprinkle each corner as well. All the while envision white light clearing the energy where you place the salt.
- If you have a basement or attic, add these to your ritual. When you have completed the process, go to the center of your main floor and add the last bit of salt.

Salt & Essential Oil Room Clearing Mist
For a quick, anytime space clearing, add these to a 2 oz mist bottle filled with water and a pinch of Himalayan pink salt:
- 10 drops Frankincense — sacred space, spiritual protection
- 8 drops Lavender — peace, calming, harmony
- 5 drops Palo Santo — purification, clearing
- 3 drops Sage — wisdom, boundary setting
Shake well before each use. Mist around the perimeter of any room while setting your intention for clarity and harmony.
